This image appears on the programme dated 31 July 1919 for the Memorial Service for the Scholars of the Church which is in Barnsley Archives (A/2/32/N/6/1).

Inscription:
Lovely and pleasant in their lives
In death they were not divided

In Undying Memory
of the following Scholars of this Church
Who Gave Their Lives
for Freedom and the Vindication
of National Honour in the
Great War of 1914-1918

"We shall go to them but they shall not return to us"

If English hearts are sad today
Yet English heads are high
That England's sons still know the way
Like England's sons to die
