Joseph Allan Walton recorded on the additional names closely related to the church but not parishoners is buried in the church yard, however his grave is not a 'War grave'. He died on 4th January 1919. He died within weeks of being discharged (12663 Private Joseph Allen Walton York and Lancaster Regiment Died age 26)

Hi Adele,
Thanks for this. Joseph appears on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission's website http://www.cwgc.org/find-war-dead/casualty/4028904/WALTON,%20JOSEPH%20ALLEN
Is there a family gravestone on his grave if there is no CWGC stone? Do you have a photograph of it that we could have for our records? You can contact me directly at barnsleyhistorian@gmail.com

Thanks,
Linda
